I have a great affections for Scotland and the Isles, so I'm delighted to see beloved alpacas there, also. Do you spin? I've learned, since acquiring our alpacas 5 yrs ago. We breed huacayas in Eugene, Oregon, USA, and are awaiting 3 cria in September. Meanwhile, halter-training the younger set is a familiar scene.
Cheers.
Ann, Aragon AlpacasAnn Dockendorfhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14087868841723783711noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6651265053461739459.post-66928442936790728442010-08-09T12:55:45.881+01:002010-08-09T12:55:45.881+01:00I have also fallen foul, of the VAT import Tax..I ...I have also fallen foul, of the VAT import Tax..I have recently....wait for it, bought a Medi-Dart Cross Bow !!....from the USA !!...I paid the price of the item plus P&P. Haven't been bitten by any Horse Flies yet thank goodness, but Robbie has had wasp stings. The paddocks look green because we have had quite a lot of rain during the summer, as well as sun. Daytime temp around 20degreesC, but some days it is a lot chillier until the sun gets going. Don't know how you survive your heat - although the swimming pool obviously helps! Take care.Shirleyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12986483719801335723noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6651265053461739459.post-60113158062242816242010-08-08T13:43:35.130+01:002010-08-08T13:43:35.130+01:00The Sign is Great! I guess the new boys will eventually get used to their halters - some must take longer than others because they are just a little stubborn perhaps! lol Nasty horse flies. They would torture my horses in the summer. They are huge. have you ever been bitten by one? THEY HURT LIKE CRAZY!! LEAVE A BIG WELT! Your paddock looks so pretty and green. Boys must enjoy it!! I noticed you were wearing a sweater. Is is chilly there? What are your day time temps?? Enjoy your posts about the boys!! ...debbieAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6651265053461739459.post-49452802659955769642010-08-08T13:13:13.066+01:002010-08-08T13:13:13.066+01:00Love the sign Shirley...definitely on the shopping...Love the sign Shirley...definitely on the shopping list and thanks for the warning about red tape...can we ever escape it?!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12308678024988841844noreply@blogger.com
